Aug. 1- SULAIMANI, IRAQ—The American University of Iraq—Sulaimani is partnering with the D.C.-based Iraq Foundation to offer five-day workshops at the University every summer for the next three years to teach young Iraqis about democracy, empowerment and civic responsibility.
July 25 - SULAIMANI, Iraq—Through a program funded by the International Relief and Development Agency, AUI-S is hosting young Iraqis from Baghdad and Baqubah for a series of five-day programs to teach skills in public speaking, leadership and volunteerism. 
Aug. 31- SULAIMANI, Iraq--The American University of Iraq—Sulaimani is very excited to announce that we will offer a new bachelor’s degree in engineering. AUI-S Provost Dr. John Agresto and Director of enrollment Timothy Doyle will hold a press conference at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 31 in the Main Building on the AUI-S campus.
